Misi
- Membuat keanggotaan HAGI menjadi lebih bermanfaat kepada seluruh Anggota HAGI, serta mengupayakan pengembangan dan pemanfaatan ilmu geofisika secara menyeluruh baik untuk kepentingan umum, pendidikan/akademik, maupun industri.
- Meningkatkan peran HAGI dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat dan menjadikan HAGI sebagai organisasi profesi yang menjadi sumber informasi dan tenaga ahli dalam upaya untuk penanggulangan/mitigasi dan informasi bencana alam, pengembangan sumber daya alam, industri dan riset ilmu kebumian.
- Meningkatkan peran HAGI di dalam :
- Menjembatani antara, riset/litbang dan pendidikan dengan industri.
- Aktif meningkatkan pendidikan ilmu kebumian untuk mencetak kader HAGI yang lebih kompeten.
- Membawa HAGI lebih berperan di area Regional dan Internasional.
